TO PLAY CRICKET IS EASY. TO UNDERSTAND THE GAME TAKES TIME.

BATTING

Young cricketers often lose balance when playing a drive because their feet, leg and head are in the incorrect position. The illustration below demonstrates when contact with the ball is made, the feet, leg and head are all "in line". The batter is balanced. When contact is made in this position the ball will be played along the ground. The player's weight has transferred to the front foot. Notice how his back foot is still on the ground.
