TO PLAY CRICKET IS EASY. TO UNDERSTAND THE GAME TAKES TIME.

DUAL CRICKET COMPETITION 2010

Reynella East High School were hosts to the Dual Wicket Cricket Competition held on Thursday 28th October. Christies Beach High School also participated.
Wirreanda High were represented by four male teams and one female team. In the boy’s competition the schools were divided into two pools of six teams. The Year 9/10 boy’s team won their Pool B competition while the Year 8 team finished third. In Pool A, the Year 9 team finished second and the Year 8 group were third.  The girls finished second in a very credible performance. The matches were played with a positive attitude and all students commented how they enjoyed the day.
The day was organised by three Reynella East students and their teacher David Scholz, together with Brendon Murphy from S.A.C.A. Officials from Morphett Vale Cricket Club and Kangarilla Cricket Club came to the school looking for prospects to recruit to their clubs. The BBQ provided by Morphett Vale Cricket Club was well appreciated by all the students.
All students from Wirreanda High are to be commended on their efforts with a thank you going to Mr Kempe who supported all the students.
