Reynella East College were hosts to Wirreanda High, Le Fevre High and Henley High Schools on Thursday 10th November in a Super 8 Knockout Competition.
Wirreanda High were successful in winning their three games, thus qualifying them for the final round.
The day saw several very good performances in batting, fielding and bowling from a number of students.
Game One: Wirreanda High School vs Reynella East College.
Wirreanda batted first and scored 90 for 3 wickets. The best performed batters were Josh Golding, Addison Rodgers and Chad Thomson. Reynella East replied with 79 for 6 wickets with single wickets to James Shugg, Addison Rodgers, Rehn Wishart and Warren Schutt. Chad Thomson assisted with a run out while Josh Golding took one catch and a stumping behind the wicket.

Game Two: Wirreanda High School vs Henley High School.
Wirreanda scored 116 for 6 in their innings with the outstanding performance being from Addison Rodgers who scored 69 not out. Henley were always playing catch up with the run rate and finished with 77 all out. Addison Rodgers took two wickets while Chad Thomson, Liam Hennessy and Colin Thompson each took one. This was a good performance from all the palyers who contributed some small part towards their victory.

Game Three: Wirreanda High School vs Le Fevre High School
The third game against Le Fevre proved to be the most interesting as it had a number of significant turning points. Wirreanda batted first with James Shugg making 35 retired and Josh Golding 21, but their run scoring was quite slow until the last two overs when 39 runs were scored by the last two batsman, Rehn Wishart 21 not out and Addison Rodgers 20 not out. The total finished on 108 for 4. In reply, Le Fevre made 83 for 1 with only two low scoring overs at the end of their innings preventing the result from being much closer.
